I have to add to the glowing reviews--this was by far the best dining experience I've had in quite a while! The food was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the veggie skillet, and the portions were so generous that I had to take most of it home. Even reheated later, it was still incredible. Honestly, I was a little sad when I finished it because it was that good! My husband had the chicken fried chicken meal, and he couldn't stop raving about it. On top of that, we tried the house-baked cinnamon roll, and wow--it was out of this world! Definitely a must-try if you visit. Our server, Janelle, was amazing and represented the restaurant so well. It was obvious she loved her job--her enthusiasm and warmth made us feel right at home. When we mentioned it was our first visit, she said, "When you come back--because I know you will be back--try this," and recommended some dishes for our next visit. She was right--we'll definitely be returning soon! The environment was clean, friendly, and just overall impressive. This place is a must-visit. Highly recommend! The Harris'

We come here every time I visit my brother in Tempe. Kind of a slow wait time but what restaurant doesn't have any wait times? I was kind of upset when the host said they were cleaning my table and when I looked in the patio 15 minutes later, no one was cleaning so I did have to say something. Food was good per usual. The cinnamon rolls could use a lil more fluff and sweetness though. Waitress was a little stand offish but it was busy so I'll give it a pass. Can't wait til next time :)

This is our first time going here. I heard about it on social media. I decided to give it a try. Seated quickly, staff extremely friendly, other customers, extremely friend. My husband ordered a Denver omelette, which was not on the menu. He enjoyed it very much. It was very big. My husband and I shared the biscuits and gravy which was some of the best biscuits and gravy we had in a long time. The biscuit was large and soft, the gravy was very tasty with lots of sausage. My husband and I almost raced each other to get the last bite it was so good. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake French toast ... I was really looking forward to it, but it was a big letdown. It's a beautiful plate, and besides the strawberries being fresh, those are the only positive things I can say about the dish. There was no cheesecake flavor whatsoever. I kept hunting for it and just couldn't find it. There was a vanilla mascarpone kind of cream and whip cream, but NO cream cheese/cheesecake flavor. The French toast itself was extremely dry and was so heavily lemon flavored, it just threw the whole balance of the dish off. We had ordered another of this french toast to take back to my homebound dad. He agreed it was very dry. I think if the actually soaked the bread longer and lightened the lemon flavor and removed the cheesecake from the title it could be passable . Would i return again...yes the biscuits and gravy were that good, and there's other items i would like to try from the menu, and the staff is friendly. If they had the the smuckers apple butter packets i would be back often, just for the biscuits. Lol

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, this was an exceptional dinning experience! Our server was amazing, the hostess was very polite, at one point during a crazy brunch rush the manager hit every table with a wonderful hello and a welcoming compliment! Though the restaurant was super busy it didn't feel busy because our food came out with ease and the waitstaff was so pleasant! A vibe and a treat! Our meal was monumental in taste and size! The churros donuts were my favorite and the lemon blueberry mascarpone pancakes - PERFECTION! I believe we got a mimosa flight which was just divine! Again from start to finish a splendid visit! We'll be back FOR SURE! Cheers!

I popped into the Henhouse Cafe around 11:30 on a Saturday. It was busy but I was seated right away. While I was offered a table, I opted for the bar as I was alone and killing some time and wanted to hang out for a bit without tying up someone's section. I ordered the Cali Benedict and coffee. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the hollandaise solid, the English muffin stayed crisp. I ordered it without bacon and definitely felt like it needed something else--should have asked to sub tomato. It came with 1/4 of an avocado, which really wasn't enough. The potatoes were good, but nothing special. Price point was reasonable. Service was good but the servers are hustling and things did get lost in the shuffle. I'd say the Henhouse Cafe is a step up from a diner and I'd rather that than those brunch places that are trying too hard and charging too much. Kind of a happy medium:)

Henhouse Cafe was an awesome spot to eat at. There wasn't a wait when we arrived and we were seated quickly. Our drinks came out quickly and our order was taken. I ordered the morning meatloaf with chili and cheese added to my potatoes. The meatloaf was soooo flavorful and good. The potatoes were cooked perfectly with a little crisp to them topped chicken warm tasty chunky chili. I would order this again 100%. Hubs got the grandpa skillet and really loved it as well. The servings were huge and the food was super tasty. Had an overall great experience and would stop in on a regular basis if it was closer to home!
